One thing i wanted to confirm that if we don't have the functionality of enabling the "wake on lan" in BIOS. Whether "wake on lan" will work on this system?Yes that is correct. However, the BIOS will be able to change the behavior of the onboard nics. If you have additional cards [PCI/PCIe], then I would suggest to get into their individual BIOS to enable WOL support.
Can you list out your nic card details and driver version if possible
