I don't remember this issue under 5.0, but it's been a while.
The motherboard doesn't seem to be supported, but people have seen similar ones work:

The nic is an Intel 82578DC also isn't supported, but similar ones are, and the e1000e driver is provided. There's a chance the e1000 driver supports this nic.
