I know it's been months since I posted this. Just did this all this morning.
There are definitely some hiccups in moving a domain controller. Nothing Windows related mind you.
But we have a Mac server here that authenticates against AD. That stopped working, so none of the Mac users could connect to the shares on the Mac server.
Unbinding and rebinding the mac server to the domain fixed that.
Also, none of the PC users could connect to shares on this server, nor Mac users could connect via SMB. Stopping and restart the SMB service didn't fix it.
A reboot of the server did.
No major errors in the Event Logs on the Domain Controller.
Looks like it is now all good.
